My style of cooking is very seasonal and fresh. Unlike many catering companies and personal chefs I DO NOT have menu samples that someone can pick items from because I like to cook as local as possible (when possible) and with the freshest available ingredients I can source. Each clients likes, dislikes, allergies and preferences will dictate the food and each menu will be organically developed as requested.

I would love to share my approach to food to get an idea of my cooking style. I enjoy comfort food and a humble approach to food. Everything we eat should make us feel good and fulfilled. I love using grains and hearty starches with dishes. When I build a plate I like to include all the components of taste and textures, sweet, salty, spicy, sour, savory. I prefer that food is enjoyed with good company and conversation rather than substance and nutrition.

Clients are more than welcome to select and request particular dishes they enjoy, and if inquiring I can provide them with a list of ingredients and dishes that I’m currently cooking for the season. Aloha and Mahalo.

I always say that I don’t believe I’m a chef. I try to be a storyteller.
